The rear tire on ours had a hole in it when we received it. **Q: How much assembly is required?** A: I purchased the 20" wheel version. That required bolting on the pedals to the cranks, in stalling the front wheel, installing and aligning the handlebars, and installing the basket. I am not sure about the other sized bikes. **Q: 6 yo boy, 43 in tall, 19 in inseam - is the 18 in bike ok or still too big?** A: Hello! The 18 inch is recommended for riders, 40" - 52". **Q: Is the 18 inch bike too large for a boy turning 4? He's 90% for height.** A: The 18" bike is recommended for riders 5-9 with a height of 42"-52". The stand over height for the 18" is about 20".
