However, Daniel Smith and Holbein watercolors can be used to refill your half pans. M. Graham also works well though they take a long time to dry in a pan because they have honey in them. **Q: How long does it last?** A: I have the 48 half pan set and I have had this palette for three years and It has lasted me! You can buy cartridges to replace the colors instead of a whole new palette. I love this palette! It is my first palette that I can refill! The paints are beautiful and I love combining this palette with tubes as well! But anyways to answer your question they will last you a long time! I have half pans that are lasting me forever and I paint every day! And these are full pans so they really will last you!
