A: Fiberglass, heavy duty. I love mine, it works great. Makes catching my goats much easier.

**Q: Would this be good for catching a Scottish Blackface sheep?**
A: Yes, I'm sure this will do for any breed of sheep or goat. I have katahdins and the neck hook is best for catching younger sheep and lambs. I found that the leg hook is better suited for the adults.

**Q: Any chance the leg hook would work on pigs?**
A: It likely would not work on pigs. Their legs straighten out when running and it would likely slide off.

A: You could use it on similar sized or smaller animals, but wouldn't recommend it for larger animals
