My 6 1/2 year old learned to read in kindergarten and this book is exactly what I wanted him to work through for 1st grade language arts. It has fun, age-appropriate activities that are engaging and educational. We homeschool and keep our lessons short so we typically work through 2-3 pages a day and call it good. The activities emphasize his spelling lessons and the phonics he learned in K that we continue to master. Perfect language arts book for kiddos who read well or have just learned to read! I looked and looked for a book like this and am so thankful I found it! The book is thick too and for such a deal!
