I did some review reading before purchasing, but they didn't pertain to the ball, do not put this ball on a wooden table you love unless you want a ring on your table, the ball is plastic and does sweat leaving a water mark. Put it away from animals and sharp stuff if you don't want it punctured or you'll have sand all over the place as they are filled with it and lastly yes they are squishy, this is a therapy ball for people like me who loose grip easily this ball is just right for me.
