Very bold taste with a non-acid taste.

Ordered this coffee, been looking forward to trying it.Delivery today was a box of Starbuck's Pike Place decaf.For this I get to wait 7-10 days for a refund, and pay some large amount annually for Prime membership.I rate Amazon as a "Strong Sell" at this point - they are tanking for some reason, down the tubes they are going!They will delete this review, I'm quite certain - nothing like the truth these days to cause a corporation or politician to put their fingers in their ears and say "yayaya" . . .

I love these coffee pods! The flavor is just right.

I will preface by saying that I am not an overall fan of K-cup coffee. I am a bit snobby (at least I admit it) when it comes to coffee. I've tried many different "dark roast" K-cups and this is by far the best.It is very consistent cup-to-cup and has a great taste. It is smooth with a good flavor without the harsh acidic taste you sometimes get from darker coffees (read. starbucks). Even some of the coffee drinkers in the office that enjoy the lighter coffees, tend to like the Italian Roast from Tully. It's a good one!

What's funny is I saw a lot of very positive reviews of this coffee, specifically saying it's bold without being acidic or bitter -- and I find it to be both of those things, overwhelmingly so. I take my coffee black with only a little bit of splenda, so perhaps that's why I am having this result -- it's possible that those who find it so delicious are diluting it more with milks, creamers, etc. However, I was very disappointed with this coffee. I should point out that I am one of those people who will drink almost any coffee -- even the burnt, disgusting stuff they serve at Starbucks that noob's think is good coffee if I have no other option.Skip this one and try something like the Donut Shop varieties.

I love Italian roast coffee. While this is not the "best" cup of coffee I've ever had it is very good for a Keurig cup. The roast is nice and dark, but no bitter aftertaste, and does not have the almost burnt taste of some dark roast K-cups I've had. It still has a robust flavor when you use it to brew the largest size. This is a good cup of coffee.

I like it fairly well, but Tully's French Roast Dark Bold is my favorite. I also like Tully's House Blend as a little milder in a middle size mug. I've tried some other brands, but we seem to like Tully's the best even if some others are also robust. I like to have this Italian Roast as a variation once in awhile.

I like dark bold coffee. This has great flavor. However, when used with the Keurig K10 single cup brewer, I found it too strong. I cannot believe I said that, since I like espresso coffee, but not for breakfast. It liked it, if I added another 2-4 oz of plain water to my maximum 10 oz cup size Keurig K10 produces.
