I have the Breville BSM600SIL Smoking Gun and recently purchased a Smoking Wood Chips Cocktail Smoker set so I was excited to put the dome to the test. Connecting the gun to the dome was seamless and created a great seal. I had read several posts about people over-smoking their items so I stopped the smoking gun as soon as the dome was filled with smoke. The rubber seal flawlessly retained the smoke until I decided to lift the dome...which was after about 5 minutes. Now this isn't going to give you the same results of placing items in a smoker but the food had a noticeable smoked flavor. I considered that a major win. This purchase has truly opened the possibility of enhancing food, drinks and seasonings at home.
