Specs say top is solid but don't say "solid" for back/sides?** A: The back and sides are laminated mahogany. But this is a beautiful great sounding guitar and plays easy. It has a very nice Fishman preamp and tuner. The case is very nice too. Lots of guitar for the money. It says walnut fingerboard and that's what I have. But, I did see another add for this guitar from Austin Bazaar (listed on Amazon) and it said Rosewood fingerboard.
