I am a 72-year-old woman with thinning hair (we could get real and call some of them bald spots!). These headbands, worn with the knot in front (leaving some of my short curls showing), cover the entire back of my head and look gorgeous. The slight coarseness of the mesh holds them in place very well. The best part is that when more hair is gone and I need further coverage, I can cut the knot off and sew the open end closed, and I will have an adorable beanie with greater coverage.
