A: The outside diameter of the pot is 8 1/2 inches. Inside diameter of the pot is 7 3/4 inches. The height is 4 inches. The length of the handle is 7 3/8 inches.

**Q: Does the handle get hot?**
A: The handle does NOT get HOT

**Q: Is the lid glass or metal?**
A: The lid is metal.

**Q: Where is the 3qt $39.95 pot made?**
A: I do not have the 3qt pot. But if I was to make an educated guess it would be China as all my other Cuisinart cookware was made in China.
