To answer your question it’s better in charge length duration, build quality, and over all feel **Q: Where can you get a battery replacement? Mine won't recharge anymore-been 2 years working great till now** A: The replacement battery, Coast part # 19698, is available through the manufacturer directly. **Q: Coast says on their website this flashlight is 4.2" long. Other places I see 7". Can anyone confirm?** A: I believe they have a shorter one but I'm not sure it's rechargeable. Mine is definitely closer to 7" **Q: Charger for A9R** A: Comes with pen light. Cannot purchase seperate. I needed a charger and had to order the whole kit.
