I dont think you could carry the logs in it as the handle moves & the bowl tips but I use a bucket to bring the logs in. It looks good which is what I wanted really. I bought this log holder to sit by our new wood burning stove. It is actually bigger than I expected but not too big. I dont think you could carry the logs in it as the handle moves & the bowl tips but I use a bucket to bring the logs in. It looks good which is what I wanted really. A good product & decent quality for the money
