My car is equipped with Toyota's 2ZZ engine, and it has ventilation vents directly above the engine. It started to misfire in rainy conditions, and I assumed that it needed new tube seals. I can't speak to durability since the seals are new, but I can say that they are a much better design that the OE seals. The grooves in the seal fit the tubes perfectly.
