I began using this product in conjunction with Soolantra which takes care of the nasty outbreaks i used to get from Rosacea. I know it wasn't long before the SVR cream started reducing the redness. A few weeks, probably. BUT from the first day I used it the pinched, dry, burning itch that had been my constant companion for years disappeared. What relief. The cream itself has a very faint green tinge that helps reduce the appearance of redness almost immediately. But the underlying red skin seems to take a bit of time to settle down. When my dermatologist recommended this cream I was highly skeptical. I have incredibly sensitive skin. So much so that I simply don't wear make-up anymore. Haven't for years. I can't find any make-up on the market that doesn't bother my skin, especially my eyes. But I tolerate this extremely. And besides reducing the redness of my skin, its a wonderful day cream. I'm an old gal but I gotta say that my 70ish cheeks are as smooth as a baby's butt since I started using this stuff. And no, I don't get paid to say these things. It's my very honest response to a skin problem I thought I was stuck with for life!
