Personally I use these Arteza for painting, and Tombows for lettering/calligraphy. But I don't necessarily want to use my Arteza brush pens for calligraphy, they're a bit soft for my taste in terms of that. **Q: How long does it take the paint to dry?** A: Drying time would be dependant on how many layers you are laying down I suppose but, it dries quickly enough that I didn't have to wait for my next stroke. These pens are the best! The colors are very distinct and there are a wide variety of colors to choose from. I made a color chart as soon as I received my pens and all functioned perfectly. I did not experience ANY that were dry or damaged. **Q: what is the best way to store real brush pens?** A: The case you can buy for them is really cool and I love it for portability.
