There was plenty of it to use for the job that I was doing with some left over to do a few other things. It wasn't messy at all since they've made it reusable. It sealed everything nicely. It didn't have an odor at all. As for the looks it won't matter in my application. It served its purpose for what it was intended for. It did fill the gaps nicely for my purposes. I couldn't find this in my home improvement store so I bought it along with the riser at the same time.
