Sitka is a system, but with that said this is a great piece to start out with. Review: very well-built hoody. perfect fit and length. Its not necessarily a thin hoody and will probably be good for my area up until mid to late October with a base layer. The thumb holes and the convertible gloves are a nice feature and the hood fits over a ball cap and doesn't hide peripheral vision or deaden hearing. Large is good for me. Definitely not roomy but longer than an average hoodie. It runs tight in the arms near the wrist but I think it’s worth it. Warm and functional. **Q: is it windproof?** A: No it is not. Most pullovers of this nature are designed to be insulation worn under a weather-proof outer layer (jacket). A windproof layer inside this sweater would make it heavier and and not as comfortable.
