If you put in a dimmable bulb, you will get a low-level light until motion is detected and then it comes on at full brightness. You can also set it to be off completely until motion is detected and then it comes on at full brightness. Of course, you can also use it by just turning on at a wall switch when you need it. I have purchased 6 of these lights. I did have a problem with one of them and reached out to the seller. They replaced it very fast!

These lights are very nice looking. The dusk to dawn feature with motion sensor works well. If you put in a dimmable bulb, you will get a low-level light until motion is detected and then it comes on at full brightness. You can also set it to be off completely until motion is detected and then it comes on at full brightness. Of course, you can also use it by just turning on at a wall switch when you need it. I have purchased 6 of these lights. I did have a problem with one of them and reached out to the seller. They replaced it very fast!

I ordered these, and they were very simple to install. They work great so far just as stated. I have gotten many compliments already by neighbors on how elegant they look. I purchased the dimmable bulbs that are recommend by Amazon when I bought these and they work great. Highly recommend them.
