There is a learning curve. read the instructions or go online so that you can understand how it works. They both have worked flawlessly for three years and will charge anything you can imagine as long as you can connect it. I run RC cars I recharge lithium polymer batteries, nickel metal hydride, lead acid, you name it. it has trickle feature amp control it will do 3S lipo and 2s lipo also among many other things.
