He sleeps on this mat (with a blanket on top) allllll the time. Since it arrived he has relaxed and is comfortable for the first time in ages. I would strongly recommend it you have an old cat. This also means we can switch the heating off at night or when we are at work and our cat is still warm, relaxed and comfortable. Because you put your own blanket on top this also means it can match you taste - most pet beds seem to be basic patterns and ugly.
