They are very durable and the quality of the pencil itself is particularly good. The only thing is if you use a not so good sharpener the tip ends up being not very efficient on the paper and you have to go over things twice to make them readable. I find they best perform when the paper has no lucidity (like classic printable a4 papers), whilst they are not very good on books that have pictures. If you plan to highlight a lot of things on classic uni/school books they might not be visible or the colour may not be there for a long Tim. For drawing, writing and taking notes on regular notebooks they are brilliant though.
