**Q: How thick is the crash pad and is it firm or soft?  Could this be worn with a ski boot to prevent shin bang?**
A: The pads are a series of square foam pieces about 1/2” x 1/2”. They are soft like little marshmallows.  They should provide the protect you are referring to.  Unfortunately, when washed a couple of times, the little pads separate from the fabric and form clumps.  I do not recommend these.  I the bought the
Kuangmi pads that are the best I’ve ever owed.  Good luck!

**Q: Would this be good for mountain biking (MTB) to protect my shins against pedal smashes (where you slip on the pedal, and the pins whack your shins)?**
A: I am pretty sure they will. I wear them all the time to protect my shins

**Q: Can I take the actual shin guard out?**
A: No, the shin pads are non-removable.

**Q: Could these fit a 6 year old average weight boy?**
A: The M size is suitable for kids to wear, please refer to the calf size recommendations furtherly.
