OTTOLOCK is an all-new cinch lock for both cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts who value their gear and need a compact and lightweight solution. OTTOLOCK is designed for short-stay security and protecting against theft opportunists. It's more secure than a cable lock and much lighter than a U-Lock. Starting weight at just 120g and coiling to a compact 3 inch diameter, OTTOLOCK is truly portable and always there when you need it. Security is addressed with a patent-pending, multi-layer steel and Kevlar band design, making it extremely cut-resistant. Under load, the bands slide upon one another and effectively reduce shear forces. Conventional theft tools like wire or bolt cutters will have a hard time against OTTOLOCK. It is not a replacement for a U-Lock. For maximum security, use a redundant locking method with both a U-Lock and a secondary lock.The OTTOLOCK 18" Cinch Lock is ideal for mid-ride stops. Lock single tube to post or pole, or lock wheel to frame.

**Q: What kind of cutting resistance does this have? It's okay if not much, I just want to get an accurate view.**
A: I had to cut my own lock as it got stuck while locked to the bike. I used a pair of $13 tin snips, and  it really was as easy as that previously posted video shows. It did not even take a full 2 seconds.

**Q: What is the safety rating on comparison with other types of bike locks?**
A: There is no formal rating system for bike locks in the US.  The OTTOLOCK will take longer to compromise than a cable lock, and is lighter than a U-lock.  OTTOLOCK is a lightweight, compact, portable, and more convenient alternative to traditional bike locks.  It is a deterrent to theft opportunists.

**Q: Is it true ...  ?    It can be cut in less than 5 seconds with a $10 pair of metal sheer clippers. ???**
A: Yes, even then newer version Hexband was cut with the same $10 pair of metal sheer clippers.

Habe das Schloss jetzt 1 Jahr und nicht mehr als 20x genutzt Es geht schwer zu schließen, ist aber ok, wenn es zum öffnen geht, eigentlich nur mit kräftigen Fingern, meine Frau kann es nicht öffnen. Das Hauptproblem ist aber das Zahlenschloss!! Sehr schwierig, manchmal sehr leicht und dann klemmt es wieder, einzustellen Die einzelnen Zahlen sind schwer einzustellen Jett das Schloss im Urlaub dabei und bereits das zweite Mal, dass die Zahl zum öffnen eine andere ist, als ich es abgeschlossen habe!!
