better than wood or resin 😅
Silly me thought I'd get one of those cool resin wrist rests...they're slippy when your going hard.....yea... and grippy when not .then i tried wood... was kinda too firm like the resin. so I decided to give this a go.... and just like the 3 bears...its just right 👌 it does have its little things that bother me...again I'm not like you... I'm different 😅 for instance it gets dirty quick... its light so it sometimes moves as its not heavy enough to grip but the thing that bugs me most Is the cardboard like base inside...it bends a tiny bit upwards even if you bend it the other way...it'll bend right back due to the tension of the fabric at the front...make it a plastic or metal bottom plate with rubber next time. but still better than hard wood or plastic 👍8/10

Not Very Durable and Poor Material Choice
This wrist rest was not as good as I expected in basically every aspect, I found that it wasn't very grippy on my desk and didn't seem to stick well and as my wrists slightly brush it in every direction it would move. The build of the wrist rest itself was extremely underwhelming as well, the bottom of it is clearly just cardboard and so the rest arrived with a slight bend in it and I found it impossible over a couple of days of use to get this bend out, it was just permanently damaged and getting it flat against my desk was unachieveable. With the actual material on the outside of the wrist rest I found that it was a nice fabric but I could feel that it was quite absorbant and was going to take in any sweat from my hands and given that it's going to be unable to be washed because of the cardboard base this was another damaging feature to me. I am returning this and don't intend to buy another wrist rest from GMMK as the return process involved me going out of my own pocket (even after purchasing through Prime) and having to ship internationally cross continent to get this returned.

Slightly disappointed - Returned
When it arrived the surrounding stitching was fraying already, not a good start. But what I also noticed is the way in which the stitching is designed is it actually creates a lip over the rubber bottom, so I found it slipped, regardless of if you had pressure on it, on a hard surface or desk pad.The depth of the wrist wrest was also (for us anyway) a little too long, I felt it should've stopped about 2cm shorter, and it would've been perfect. The materials are great, I won't knock it for that, but I'm unsure of the foam either, I feel it will quickly, and very easily show an indent of your wrist. With these issues, and the fairly high price tag, I'm returning the item, but I wanted to review still.

Not so great after 6 months
**/Updated after 6 month use/**After several months use this wrist rest is really starting to show signs of wear now, the base appears to be a sheet of thick cardboard wrapped in non slip material, this ha now substantially warped after getting damp through cleaning and the rest no longer sits flush on my desk. The Lycra style material coating the covering the wrest has begun to stretch to the point it is very loose and dozens of tiny bobbles of material have begun to appear on the surface. Was great while it lasted but I will now be pursuing a refund on this.**/Original Review Below/**Good Quality, very comfortable and works as described. My only niggles with it are:1: It is VERY light so despite it having a very good non slip base this is only effective when weight is being applied meaning its prone to being bumped around my desk.2: The core seems to be very dense foam that while comfortable dose cause considerable heat build up during extended use.

it’s supposed to be firm
you’ll probably think the foam is too firm when you first receive the product - let it settle in for a while. the foam will soften up over time where you place your wrists. ambient temperature makes a difference as well.the logo is subtle and is only really visible under direct light. there’s a pronounced sparkle/shine to the material (more noticeable than a mousepad, for example) that may be distracting if you want something completely matte. the “lip” around the rubber base may slip under your keyboard depending on the dimensions (no issues with a full size filco).it feels a little silly paying a premium for these kind of products, but after a few weeks i can appreciate the difference in comfort for both gaming and typing. might as well support glorious while i’m at it (the mice are recommended if you can stand the holes).
