One caution is be certain that you have installed correctly and that you have a leakproof seal. The instructions say to hand tighten and then use a wrench for a final half turn. That might work if you have a very strong grip but I found that I needed to crank it down around another 1 1/2 turn or so before it stopped leaking. Let me emphasize that you need to check for leaks and continue to carefully tighten until it is sealed properly. When I replaced a filter the first time, I belatedly discovered that it was still slightly leaking...too late and had water damage in an adjacent room (the water had seeped under the baseboard). Not sure what is going on with the pricing, perhaps just supply chain problems, but these were listed at over $100 this last time (early 2024) which is over 3X the amount I paid for the first one. Delayed until it came back down within reason.
