They hit hard *by G***Y on June 18, 2015* These are wonderful. I wish the previous reviews would have taken the time to research and realize that these are not flush-free. The trade off is with flush free you will not see benefit on your HDL. Yes, the flush is a lot the first time. However, this will subside the more you use it. Other recommendations for softening flush would be working your way up in dose (it's offered in 75-100mg also), eating a light snack before consuming, and taking with cold water. Im up to 3 grams, so I take 2 500mg tablets with each meal. An absolute miracle for my mental health. Every negative review I read was about the flush, which is a little annoying. You want that! The guy going to the ER because of niacin is the funniest and most absurd story possible. Love it.
