Review: I absolutely love Melissa & Doug toys - I absolutely love Melissa & Doug toys. We have bought quite a few over the years and the quality never disappoints. I really love wooden toys because my younger son is a very destructive child and he breaks everything! Wood and strong plastics hold up the best when it comes to him so I buy him a lot of the wooden Melissa & Doug toys. This particular one was purchased for him for Christmas. He loves playing with cars and trucks and when I saw this, I knew it would last longer than his cheaper plastic ones. With his cheaper cars and trucks, the wheels were always coming off or doors or other parts were always getting broken from him slamming them together and making them "crash". This set has held up incredibly well even with all of his rough horsing. It's been a few months now and nothing has broken. I have read a lot of other reviews that state that theirs broke rather quickly and easily. We've never had that problem with any Melissa & Doug toy thus far. They still have some wooden vehicles that we purchased a few years ago and they are still in great shape with just a few knicks in the paint. Overall I love this brand. I dont really like that its made in China but a lot of things are these days and it can be hard to avoid. I would recommend this toy to others. I absolutely love Melissa & Doug toys. We have bought quite a few over the years and the quality never disappoints. I really love wooden toys because my younger son is a very destructive child and he breaks everything! Wood and strong plastics hold up the best when it comes to him so I buy him a lot of the wooden Melissa & Doug toys. This particular one was purchased for him for Christmas. He loves playing with cars and trucks and when I saw this, I knew it would last longer than his cheaper plastic ones. With his cheaper cars and trucks, the wheels were always coming off or doors or other parts were always getting broken from him slamming them together and making them "crash". This set has held up incredibly well even with all of his rough horsing. It's been a few months now and nothing has broken.
