She only get chicken jerky or boiled chicken breast for her treats and she usually gets that at night with the yogurt. Overall, she's doing well with the supplement and the diet changes. She's not on any insulin she's only taking Blood Sugar Gold. It doesn't work overnight but it does work. Patience is the key. The only issue that I have is the $$$ for a 4oz bottle. I think it's expensive for the amount you get in the bottle. I would feel better about the price if the bottle was 6-8 oz. I purchased a 4oz bottle of Primalix Blood-Sugar BALANCE herbal extract for dogs and cats for only $41 and it has all of the ingredients that's in Blood Sugar Gold. I do have to put it in her food as she won't let me put it in her mouth. I'm so upset with myself not knowing about this product before. I can see more improvements coming after more days of use. The Veterinarian who created this really understood the pain of insulin shots and understood what other natural product can be used instead. I would image you can ease off of the insulin or give a little insulin with the supplement not a Doctor so I don't know. I used this product to try and help with my kittys diabetes diagnosis last year and it did nothing. I checked her blood sugar with a 12$ human glucometer and a quick poke to her ear regularly but her bloodsugar never did improve over the 3 months on this product. Now she does a quick insulin shot am and pm. She has never felt a single insulin shot. She just comes in for treat time in less than 1 second while her heads down eating i lift her skin, poke, and im on my way. If you manage to get up in the morning and put yourself to bed at night you will be fine on insulin. Its not much harder than that.
