I go through erasers quickly so having a 12-pack of extra erasers is much needed. Each eraser comes with the metal sheath that fits into the end of the pencil. These refill erasers work well (they are a good quality) and as you use up some of the eraser you can pull out the unused portion to extend the life of each individual eraser in its metal sheath.
