You can do this with a pair of bathroom scales and simply picking up the bottle, noting the weight and then deducting your own weight. Do not accept a 15kg bottle that contains less than 15kg. A 15 kg Calor gas butane bottles could last approximately 238 hours on low heat. That's one bar. Each 220g of butane, more or less, will last about 3 to 4 hours on low heat. The heater generates 4.2KW at full power, but most people find that would heat the average room from 63 Fahrenheit (17 Centigrade) to 79 Fahrenheit (26 degrees Centigrade) in less than 20 minutes. During winter, I found it powerful enough to have it on for 30 minutes at one bar and then off for an hour, then on for another 30 minutes.
