They arrived on time and a quick look confirmed that they were sturdy enough for the job. I had to fit a post each side of the step outside the doors to attach them to, but after screwing them on and adjusting the latch piece they worked perfectly. I think the reviewer whos latches were too stiff to move must have got a bad one as mine were easy moving and the spring moved the arm back easily. The main parts are made of plastic coated steel and the door buffer parts are made of plastic so will not damage the door in use.
