Also, there is no noise. Real good reproduction of the entire sound spectrum of the guitar. You could go for this without a second thought. Also, the resonance is amazing. **Q: Will this work with Epiphone DR-100?** A: The unit is 4 inches in diameter where it slips into the guitar sound hole with a slightly larger lip to prevent it from falling completely into the body. If the opening on your Epiphone is 4 inches, give or take 1/8 of an inch it should fit without any issues. Works well on my Martin. **Q: Does this work with nylon strings?** A: No, you need a piezo style pickup. This particular pickup also would not fit the mounting hole in any of my acoustic guitars. **Q: Does installation require removing the strings? How does it stay in the sound hole?** A: I was able to install mine without removing the strings, but I had to use a dremel tool and grind off rubber all the way around the outer edge, quite a bit in order to get it to fit into the sound hole. Lots of out put so I can line it directly into board. It’s east to install and remove from the soundhole. No noise whatsoever, it is a very clean signal. Exactly what I was looking for.
