Then, my five-year-old Heeler mix got allergic foliculitis on his head (between the ears) after being groomed at a kennel we left the dogs at for two nights. Should've known better, but I thought it would be okay just once. I used this soap every day for three days and the foliculitis went away. Nothing else. Just this soap. In order to make it last longer because it can get pretty soft after bathing three dogs in a row, I rinse the bar off and keep it out on a soap tray by my bath. Lasts quite awhile and I think it's so much better than the average shampoo. Plus, you're not putting awful chemicals on your dog's skin!

**Q: How often can a dog be bathed with this bar? I am fighting a yeast infection.**
A: I don't know.  We bathe weekly.  Diet should be grain free and preferably carb.  free.  We feed raw meat, bones and organs trying to mimicking what wolves might eat in the wild. Kibble usually isn't adequate for good health.   You may want to look into adding borax to your dog's skincare routine or even a very small amount in the diet.  Research borax cures.

**Q: would this work on scalp demodex in humans?**
A: I have no idea,  works great a my dog!

**Q: Does anyone with a dog on Atopica use this?  Is it effective in helping to control itching?**
A: We have used this product on our Westie for 3 years. From day one he was a stinky itchy dog.... eventually we tracked his problems to hypothroid, yeast, and occasional outbreaks and demodex (the yeast and the demodex because his immune system is compromised from the hypothroid). We only use dermic products in him now. With his first outbreak of demodex we shaped him with another recommended "all natural" anti-demodex shampoo and he broke out in tiny bumps and was going even more insane with itching... within a half hour I shampooed him with Dermagic products and the difference was AMAZING! The peppermint conditioner is also soothing for an itchy dog. If your dog is chronically itchy. I would recommend going to Dermagic's website and reading what she has to say. Also look at Nzymes.com. we have used their regimine for 3 years also.

The Dermagic products really did help my 3 year old Pomeranian grow his fur back! At first I just thought he was shedding fur for the summer but became alarmed when he developed completely bald spots on his tummy & back legs and then on both sides of his neck. He was diagnosed with Alopecia X. I used the shampoo bar, conditioner & lotion and within 2 months he started regrowing wispy fur. It’s now the 3rd month and his fur is becoming a little thicker, though it is growing slower in the areas that became bald first. I am so thankful I found these products because Alopecia X is extremely serious and vets don’t seem to be aware of them.
