(Dog Food = 18lbs). Height from top to bottom is 17+1/2 inches. Width across the top is 9 inches. The container is a little bit tapered down to the bottom. Depth, from front to back at the widest point, is a tad less than 14 inches. In a cabinet that 26 inches wide, by 18 inches tall, by 16 inches in depth, I can easily get 3 of these containers to fit, side by side. Hope that helps! If I poured loose kibble into the container, I could maybe fit another 5 lbs in there. My cabinet is 19 inches tall, and the container is 18 inches tall, so I can't use the wheels. And don't really need the wheels. It is 9 inches wide at the very top of the lid. Because a person is always adding new kibble to a dwindling supply of kibble being used, you'd probably need the next size offered. And if you're not keeping it in a cabinet, you would also need the wheels because 25+ lbs. gets heavy to lug around. Please let me know if other questions need to be answered, thank you. By the way, a really good alternative for containing dog food is the Vittle Vault series. It's food grade plastic, completely air, water, waterproof, varmit and light proof. They make the containers in all kinds of sizes now.
