Excellent construction Review: For the price, I would not recommend this mat cutting board. It is ridiculous to assemble and has many loose parts. I have a bow in the mats I cut, they are not cutting straight and I ended up having to glue the squaring brackets in place as they were perpetually loose and shaky, without being able to be secured because of the mounting screw which stuck up too high and kept catching the threading screws that are supposed to slide across them. Also, the 450-1 model has aluminum guide channels, a deluxe pull style bevel cutting head which is far superior, a 20 inch measuring bar with production stop, a squaring bar, and two additional production stops. The 450-1 is well worth the slightly higher cost. Buy the 450-1 from Framersisland and your order ships same day if ordered by 2pm eastern time. We are a factory authorized dealer. **Q: Can you cut multiple openings in a mat board with this machine?** A: As long as your aim is good. It's a little tricky finding the start and end points with the beveled blade but it can be done. **Q: Anyone else have accuracy & squaring problems? My dimensions are significantly off and the mats are not square. Checked with tape measure & square.** A: Glad you figured out the issue with your cutter. Now if you need to be precise you know the error to correct for. Label your cutter so you never forget.
