He had worms and had been eating who knows what and his stomach and digestion was all out of whack. After many vet visitation get him health and worm free his poor tummy was still upset and his poop smelled awful! It would smell our whole home. I finally switched him to this food because my previous fur boy who passed away was on this food for years and it worked like a charm for his vomiting and sensitive stomach. Within less than a week the digestion issues resolved themselves and this is gonna sound silly but, his poop no longer smells. The quality of the food is great. We also love the Velcro closure on the bag that makes it easy to use and keeps the food fresh. Which is super important when you have a 5 year old helping with animal care chores. If I had to make a complaint I would say that my only complaint is he likes it too much because I know have an overweight 30 pound cat 🤣 even though we only feed him the recommend amount. If I’m being honest this isn’t the foods fault though he is just a super lazy and happy cat. So, lazy that he will let my daughter tote him around like a babydoll and he sleeps with the dog in the dog bed on occasion. I couldn't get him in with my vet for over a week so I tried this food. He was also biting his skin with bits of fur everywhere. This was an instant hit. He started eating it right away and there was literally no transition. I left a little of his original food in the bowl and he picked around it so I went all in. 3 days in and no more vomiting. Haven't seen any pieces of hair that he bit off.
