Also I didn't like that it was made of plastic. I used a French Press for a while but cleaning it out was gross and even though I put the grounds in the compost bin, enough went down my drain that the sink clogged all the way back to the pipe behind the wall. I never had to call a plumber for the kitchen sink in 9 years, until I started using the French Press. Aeropress: made of black plastic, so enough said. With the Switch, cleanup is so easy and I don't have to spend time doing an intricate pour over, weighing the pros & cons of the concentric circle pattern vs. the flower pattern.
