I got 2 by 10 inch by 8 ft boards at lowes stained them special walnut and had them cut to 5 feet. I was able to install all these shelves by myself (I’m a woman in my late 30s) in a couple hours! I used the circle pieces as a template to mark with a pencil where I needed to drill- I used a level with ruler to measure (and measure again) for each circle piece- I then would put up the whole vertical piece, screwing in slightly one or two holes on each of the 5 circle pieces to make sure it would line up and then went back and added the other two screws/ tightened all. It worked well! I use this area in our home for a home school room, play room, craft room/ small business. The little totes I already had and they happened to fit perfectly! They hold so much - this would also be great for toy storage. Definitely would buy again!
