**Q: Does it come with the heating element?**
A: Yes. Unfortunately it developed shorted leads somewhere within the cable after about 1 week though.

**Q: does this work with 852D+?**
A: So so. I bought 10 units and in some of them, an uncompatible situation ocurrs regarding its real temperature and the proper digital display indicator

Perfect replacement for my busted iron!  Beware if you allow these to overheat too much, it can cause the plastic collar to get hot and split making it nearly impossible to use.
