When I saw this curlfriends conditioned and noticed all of the positive reviews I decided to give it a try. Sadly I was very disappointed and now have a giant bottle of a conditioner I don’t really like using. This is for a few reasons. 1st, it doesn’t have a very pleasant smell. It’s not a bad smell but it’s definitely not a smell I enjoy in the shower or what i would want my hair to smell like afterwards. I will caveat that by saying I’m a fan of the strong coconut-y or orange vanilla smelling conditioners so I realize this is a personal preference thing. If you don’t like scented conditioner this might actually be a plus for you as the scent is pretty non-existent. 2nd, it does NOT detangle my hair at all. Why on earth would you make a conditioner for people with curly hair that does not detangle? Boggles the mind! That is one of my primary interests in a conditioner and I automatically assume curly conditioner would detangle!
