Characteristic backpacks are reproduced using new modeled parts. Sharply extended wings also adopt some new parts, to a more sharp silhouette. In addition, each joint part secures a wide movable range. Part of the beam rifle equipped with a variable gimmick is reproduced using a new modeling. Deformation at maximum opening is realized. Parts mounted on top of the beam rifle can also be operated as a shield. Moreover, it can reproduce large shield by recombination. Biggest issue is its casted/molded terribly. You can see how they filled the molds to make the parts. I haven't tried it but I'm thinking a topcoat may fix it shine wise. I'd rather not have to paint the whole kit hence the review grade. It also comes with many extra parts from other kits. So I've taken the liberty of swapping the torso with the normal Hyaku Shiki torso. You'll end up with enough parts left to make a good amount sections of other kits.
