By the way if you like the music in this concert pick up the 3cd set of In The Beginning of Fleetwood Mac also the cd Then Play On which features one of my favorite Peter Green songs Oh Well Parts 1 and 2, part 2 will blow your mind. Growing up in the Philly PA area the local station would play Fleetwood Mac and yes play Oh Well both parts. Ok back to this release, I get the feeling the Mick Fleetwood thoroughly enjoyed playing this music again, he is featured on drums throughout. So many greats showed up to pay tribute to Peter and did an amazing job. The first act is full of some really nice numbers and played very well but for me it was the second act where things start to really happen and they play some of my favorites. It start with Man of the World and then moves on to Oh Well both parts with David Gilmore doing a most wonderful job on Part 2 which is played for the first time in concert, Fleetwood Mac never got to play the second part. Black Magic Woman shows up a little, later so many people think that this is a cover of a Santana song when in reality Santana's is a cover of a Fleetwood Mac song. Towards the end of this set and the concert The Green Manalishi and Albatross are played Kirk Hammett appears on them playing Peter Green's cherish Les Paul which he now owns, what a wonderful touch to an already incredible concert. Pick this up it has 2cds of the show a Blu-Ray of the concert. It is housed in a hard back book with pictures and a couple of essays to complete this release. Another note this concert took place the day before the world shut down including all concerts due to the Covid situation. I love this release and Mick did a wonderful job pulling it all together, thank you for that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Tribute Concert by Amazing Musicians! *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2021* I was a huge Fleetwood Mac fan without ever knowing about their early blues work. I discovered Peter Green about 3 years ago after buying an old "Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac" album just for fun. He has quickly become one of my all-time favorites. Peter Green has left us an incredible body of work we can enjoy forever. I watched this concert on NUGS.com a couple months ago and was blown away. Now I OWN the video of the concert - and 2 CDs too. What a lineup of truly great musicians to honor Peter Green, who was one of the best blues players ever! I will be watching this amazing concert over and over again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good show, Fleetwood toasts Peter Green and the first Mac *by G***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2021* I put the BluRay in the player with moderate expectations. None of the great contemporary guitar hero rivals were on the bill (Pete Townshend is kind of his own category but I'm thinking Clapton, Beck, Page, even Mick Taylor or Trower). But it's a very well rehearsed program with some real highlights. Fleetwood is an avuncular and occasionally emotional MC and has his moments pounding the skins as well. There aren't many singers able to top Greeny's original vocals but Jonny Lang comes close on the obscure "Sandy Mary" and Noel Gallagher is quite a surprise in his "unplugged" set. Townshend is still a show-biz AND musical master as he fetes Danny Kirwan on "Station Man." Kirk Hammett takes "Green Manalishi" to the territory Green explored in his live versions (using a genuine talismanic Greeny Les Paul according to Fleetwood). Less a highlight but still amazing is 86-year-old John Mayall singing "All Your Love" even if it's more Clapton-era BluesBreakers. And Jeremy Spencer's slippin' around on the bottleneck is another highlight, a little Elmore James tribute with 83-year-old Bill Wyman playing the electric bass underneath.
