My go-to "cure" has always been salt water, but that method just doesn't cut it. The Orajel mouthwash instantly numbs my canker sores after the first use, and I can expect them to be fully healed within 24 hours if applied when applied at the first sign of the sore. Pros: -Numbs sores instantly -Cures sores between 24-48 hours -Doesn't numb tongue (No weird tingly sensation) Cons: -Odd taste (Likely because of hydrogen peroxide) -Leaves blue residue on tongue/in mouth I usually rinse my mouth with water after using this to remove the blue remnants after use.
