I quickly wound the line up and Violá! A fish! I caught a dozen whiting, a small pompano & a few croaker. The best part was I was at a beach filled with vacationers and I didn’t need to make them dodge my lines staked at the waterside complete with nasty looks. I would definitely buy it again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by A***R on 22 June 2018* I am so pleased with my innitial assesment of the reel, all of the holes have had their edges rounded including the small “set and forget” holes on the edge of the reel. The edges of the reel are butter smooth which will make casting easier and more effective. The little tackle bag includes 6 weights (2 sinkers of 3 different sizes), 12 hooks (4 of 3 different sizes), and 4 barrel swivels. The tackle bag easily fits with the reel in the bag. (I took the picture next to a US quarter for size comparison, obviously the quarter was not included with the reel. ) I can absolutly see and appreciate the care and thought that the creators put into this reel and kit. It is so rare that you see a product that was not rushed to market or built to a price, but instead carefully thought out, made to high standards, and and sold for a price that is fair to both producer and customer. I really just wanted something I could easily keep in my bag so I didn’t have to keep a fragile pole in my car all the time if i just wanted to make an impromptu trip to one of the local town ponds after work, and I didn’t want to have to bring a tackle box or bag of tackle that I would have to tote around or leave on the ground while fishing. This is a great way to restrict yourself to the essentials so you can fish more and plan and pack less.
