The metal is high quality (I've had them in for a few days now without issue), and the earrings themselves are very dainty and feminine. The balls ARE small (as commented on by other reviewers), but that's part of the appeal. I personally had no issue putting them in on my own, but if you do have issues snapping the balls into place on earrings like this I'd suggest either having someone helping you or using pliers. I'm extremely happy with this product.PRO TIP- if you are having issues actually getting the balls into the earrings (I mean, they aren't easy) just boil some water and place the HOOPS ONLY into it for about 3-5 minutes. This causes the hoops to temporarily expand (thanks thermodynamics) and the cold ball will slide in easily.
