The kit has a nice variety of colors. She has been on Spring Break and this item has been good for keeping her from being bored.This item is nice for if you just need the beads as it does not come with the templates. We have lots of templates. We just ran out of beads.They iron nicely. They come with more of the paper that you put between the beads and the iron. My daughter uses them to go along with her rubber bands for her rubber band loom also. So she uses lots of them. This set is very good! It comes with a nice case also that can be reused. I received no other compensation. All opinions are my own. I recently got into creating things with these beads through a forum I belong to. We're all gamers, namely OLD SCHOOL NINTENDO and a lot of the folks on there make 8-bit characters out of these. My sister ended up buying the Perler brand beads and I tested those out, making a Pikachu from Pokemon. I immediately fell in love and knew I needed to try these to see how they compared. I am so utterly impressed by these Melty Beads! This particular pack comes with 15 different colors, all of which are vibrant and fun. I can make just about everything I can dream up with these colors. However, through experimentation I did realize that you'll probably need a lot more black than anything so maybe buy some extra black? Maybe it was just my designs but I used a lot of the black beads. I didn't count exactly how many beads are in each color, however I did count the light green and there was 125 beads. I assume, judging from the size of all of the compartments, that there's roughly 125 beads of each color. If you're not familiar with these beads you can use them two ways, at least to my knowledge. One way would be to string them and make jewelry and the other way is how I intend to use all of them. You get yourself a peg board (not included) and you design whatever you want. I will be doing Nintendo characters and making myself some really neat and unique Christmas ornaments. Then, once you have your design laid out you'll put the ironing sheet (INCLUDED) over the design. You'll take an iron (not included) and you'll gently press and iron back and forth for about 25 seconds, or until you can see that the beads are successfully fused together. For beads that are on a diagonal, you may need to iron a little more as there's more space between the beads this way. Overall, I absolutely LOVE this set and can verify that they are just as good as the more expensive, brand name beads! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AWESOME BEAD SET *by J***W on Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2016* When I ordered the Beads for ironing - Fuse Beads together on pegboard - perler beads for ironing - Melty Beads you iron - beads for craft projects - beads separated by color - no sorting required I wasn't sure of the quality these beads would be. I am very pleased. My grandchildren had a very good time making things with this kit. The kit comes in a case and the colors are separated so it was easy for them to pick out the colors they wanted to add to their beautiful necklaces. Lol. There is a nice variety of bright colors.
