Installation was not a beginner project and it would have helped if I had a hole expander bit but it is not an advanced project either. I used a drill bit, a marker and got by. Review: Fits Great! - Traxxas part that fits great. Should have came stock but here we are. Installation is easy but follow these steps… •Drill 4 small pilot holes from underneath the body through the 4 empty holes in the cage. •Remove the middle part of the cage. •Drill out the holes to the correct size by stepping up gradually in bit size. Make them big enough for the skid plate studs to fit through not just the screws. •Clean off excess plastic then push the skid plate on through the new holes. •Put the cage back in and screw them together until tight.
