I need them for scuba diving, I get horrible motion sickness on the boat and in the water** A: Yes, in fact as a scuba instructor I recommend them, especially for live-aboard boats when you don't want something that will wear off. Remember to have them on before you get on the boat and keep them on, in and out of water the entire time, under the wetsuit, however you need to maintain until back on dry (steasy) land. **Q: How long can they be used for are they reusable?** A: I have been a cruise agent for 15 years and can state that these are wonderful! I give them to my clients when they cruise. You can put them on even after you are sick and they will work. They normally last between 10 - 12 years. I experienced motion sickness before on a cruise and had to take Dramamine. I didn’t like the drowsy feeling and wanted something more natural. These worked very well. I wore them the entire 6 days of our cruise only taking them off when I got off the ship. But made that mistake when we had to catch a ferry to another part of the island and immediately started feeling the motion sickness when we were heading back. I put the bands back on and they helped to reduce the motion sickness. After like 4 days or so my wrist did start to itch some and it took a little getting used to when I first put them on, but I would definitely invest in another pair. The size of them looks really small but they have a good amount of stretch to them. It also is recommended to stretch them out some before putting them on. The pressure point and instructions was also easy to find. Both of them are prone to motion sickness, and I wanted a natural, drug-free option to help them enjoy the trip. They were a little skeptical at first, but after wearing them during the first day at sea, they noticed a real difference—less queasiness and more confidence to enjoy the activities on board.The bands are easy to put on and comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time. The pressure point does feel a bit odd initially, but they got used to it quickly. The fact that these don’t have any side effects like drowsiness (unlike some medications) was a big plus for them.Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they’re not a magic fix. On rougher days, the bands helped, but didn’t eliminate the nausea completely.
