Eventually online debates lead me to a person who recommended some articles on Metamoderna written by Hanzi and associates, and the comprehensive fullness of his perspectives and approaches brought me a lot of hope. When I heard about this book coming out I had to have it, and I haven't been able to put it down since I picked it up.Make no mistake, this book is not for the faint of heart. Hanzi is not gentle with his dismantling of bad ideas and bad theory, and his familiarity with the topic and comprehension of it shines through in very clear, straightforward arguments with solid structure, objective and useful measures and interpretations of human development and politics. He does not hold any punches, and they are deeply correct punches, so they will hurt if you are not ready for them.He, and reviewers, call this book dangerous. It absolutely is.
