All you have to do is dip it in water squeeze out the water. And wrap what ever you are fixing. It gives you about 4-5 min. to work it. I used cold water and it worked great. After 10 min. it is rock hard. And repair is done. This save me a ton of money and my tripod still looks great. I used a tin can to provide some stability to the break and wrapped it with the CASTape.
